When Will This Track Be Available?!
To begin with, thank you for stopping by our website, and for taking the time to learn about the Camso track availability that is still ongoing. The short version of the story is this: Camso is having supply chain issues, so they cannot make as many snowmobile tracks as they used to.
Diving into it a little more, here is some further information and guidance surrounding the situation. If you are here, you are likely looking to purchase a snowmobile track. That’s great, we sell thousands of tracks every year, but we will do our best to treat you like our only customer.
If the track you want is on backorder we have a few options. First, we can see if an alternative track is available. If not, then we start talking about putting one on back order. When you pre-order a track with us, we immediately take that money and give it to our distributors to place your track on back order with your name on it. Then, we wait. Rest assured, we are waiting along with the rest of the country. We are in direct contact with Camso and our distributors on a constant basis and do our best to have the most up-to-date information and due dates. With that being said, Camso and our distributors will inevitably have unforeseen circumstances that could delay the due date we were originally told.
Ultimately, your pre-order helps everybody involved though, because then the distributor knows to order the track from Camso, so Camso knows to MAKE the track! Without a pre-order, Camso will not know to make it, so they might not. They are making as few tracks as possible, and there’s simply not enough to go around.
Once tracks are made by Camso and shipped to our distributor, our distributor will ship the back orders FIRST. Then, if there’s any tracks left, they will be available for all dealers to purchase. This means that if you have your pre-order in, you’ll receive your track before they are available to the general public.
We are a snowmobiling family and have been our entire lives, so we understand that it can be an expensive sport and that a track is a big investment for most people. We do not take your support lightly. Please know that if we have not shipped you anything, you are welcome to ask for a refund at any time.
We hope this provides some useful information and sheds some light on this ongoing challenge within the industry. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions.
From our family to yours, thank you for your support and patience.
